NORTH SAILS X SALT.

North Sails approached us about making high performance eyewear for water sports, specifically sailing. Working close with them we first identified a series of problems that weren't being addressed in thier space. It ranged from optic quality to fit. Selecting premium quality polarized lenses that worked great on the water was the first step. No corners are cut in producing our lenses and we only use the best for balanced light transmission. We place the polarized film on both sides to cut down glare and protect your eyes from harmful UV rays that bounce back from behind the lens. Now that the lenses were picked we chose classic styles that worked great on the water. From Aerospace grade Japanese titanium to premium handmade Japanese acetate, these materials all help achieve a premium fit. Features were added to the glasses to secure them so they hopefully didn't fall into the ocean. This project was close to us cause we spend a great deal of time on the water and having the chance to work with North Sails was a great pleasure. You can see the whole collection here.
