Collection 4 2022: The Inspiration Behind the Styles

Summer was fun but now we welcome in the Fall months and with that we are proud to release our 4th collection for 2022. Our color palette is inspired by the glacier rivers of Iceland and we teamed up with our partners in Japan to create exclusive acetate colors only found at SALT. Optics.

For this release we focus on our high quality Japanese acetate in updated classic shapes that are sure to be in style for generations.

ALDAN

The all new SALT. ALDAN takes it's styling q's from vintage British eyewear styles made popular in spy thrillers of the 1960's. The strong brow line and soft lines bring elements of drama and provide a complimentary fit. The SALT. ALDAN is handcrafted in Japan using premium Japanese acetate and best-in-class hardware. This new style also features some of our exclusive colors like the all new Glacier color this season.

 

NELSON

The SALT. NELSON embodies midcentury eyewear design. A style that can be dressed up or down and looks great in all settings. The tailored fit brings sophistication and the soft rectangular shape manages to compliment a variety of face shapes. They gained popularity in the 60's and regained their popular status once again in the 90's. A timeless design that goes beyond fashion trends. 

SELA SUN

Square shaped eyewear has been a staple for creative types. The retro shape goes beyond trend and for the SALT. SELA we explored the evolution of this square shape and added a subtle lift that gives it a unique identity, a mix of sophistication and attitude. We loved this shape so much we decided to offer it as a SUN and RX.
